Study Guide has been revised

The Study Guide for the National Counselor Exam and CPCE has been revised. It is now the 9th Edition published in January 2020. Copies should be available about February 1st.

NBCC conducted a national survey of practicing counselors basically asking them to report what they do in their counseling. Results indicate that counselors are doing more mental health clinical work.

Revisions in this 9th Edition include information about the NBCC survey results and how this will impact the NCE beginning in 2020.

Some changes to the Study Guide (mostly additions) include information about clinical assessment, case conceptualization, treatment planning and clinical interventions.

The price of the 9th Edition will remain the same as the previous edition of $59.95 and be available as a PDF download or hard copy.
