State Licensure Exam Schedule

For those counselors anticipating taking their state licensure exam in 2018, either the National Counselor Exam (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Exam (NCMHCE), the testing dates are available. This information comes from the Center for Credentialing and Education, the affiliate of the National Board for Certified Counselors.

Testing occurs during the first two full weeks of each month. Candidates are scheduled on a first-come-first-served basis. The examination schedule for the remainder of 2018 is as follows:

June 4-23
July 5-28
August 6-18
September 4-17
October 1-13
November 5-17
December 3-15
